The positive side comes from gratitude and the negative side comes from comparison alone.  Let’s discuss on both positive side and negative side of comparison. Comparison (Negative Side): Most of us become depressed or lose hope mainly due to comparison. We compare ourselves with others who are successful. We compare our current financial status with someone else’s financial status. Not only us, even our parents compare us to our siblings, cousins and neighbor’s children and make us feel we are worth nothing. It makes us feel like we are useless thus lose hope towards our goals, dreams and even in life.  Gratitude (Positive Side): We make mistake by comparing our present status/situation which includes money, job, car/bike, home, and many more with someone else who is having all those things. ...
