MISTAKES

According to my opinion, these are the three common categories and aspects in life where we make mistakes

In Academics:

Many of us did many mistakes in our academics and even failed in exams too. We see many students are committing suicides when they are failing in their exams, mainly in their 10th standard that too in our India. We, society has influenced the students or children that they should get pass in their 10th standard or else they will fail in life. Not only about the 10th standard there are many parents who inculcate in their children mind that they should get high score or top rank in academics that too in a frightened manner, telling their children that they will be given punishment from their parents.

Both parents and teachers need to be awake from the misconceptions. Parents need to understand that Marks alone neither decide the success nor the future of the children. It’s fine if your children get less marks. It’s fine if your children are not able to perform well in academics. Tell them that making mistakes is ok and tell to learn from those mistakes so that they won’t repeat the same mistake.

They might have some interest in something like art, photography, designing, gaming, singing and many more. Just ask your child what he/she has interest in. Know them and understand them. Even if they don’t have any goal in their life let them try the job or thing, they are interested in or tell them to try many things so they can decide what they are interested in. You have to tell your children to study in a healthy manner. Tell then your children in a smooth manner that education will help them in their life.

Coming to students, understand that making mistakes in your academics and failing in exams is ok. Instead of taking wrong decisions, try to learn lessons from the mistakes you have done and try not to repeat the same mistake. Don’t fall into the trap of getting high score or top marks. Gaining knowledge is the primary thing and marks are secondary. I agree we must have some good score which is eligible for the job purpose. For that give your best to get that score. Learn the concepts well, understand them and give your best. If you fail, try again and again. You will succeed.

In Money Management:

Most of us fail in money management. We make mistakes in saving our money, investing and many more. The common mistake we make is we don't save a certain amount of money from our pocket money (for students) and salary (for employees). We need to learn and start saving a portion of money from our earnings. Many people tell us to follow this rule, follow that rule, keep a portion of money for savings, keep a portion of money for emergency funds, health insurance, term insurance and many more. The fact is we can't do it all at once. Every individual income varies from person to person. Each individual has their own responsibilities to handle. We must make our own rules or plan to manage our money. We may not be able to do the savings, emergency funds, insurances, investments at once. But we can make plans according to our income.

Taking me as an example, being a 21-year-old based on my present salary Or income, I plan my investments according to the savings left after deductions of my EMI's and bills. A portion of savings will go to the investments and remaining will be in savings. Based on my present salary I can't take health insurance or term insurance. But I will take it in the future when my salary Or income increases. So, I will be adding one by one in a systematic way, and it will take time too.

Another thing is most of the youngsters and others are investing in stocks, mutual funds and other forms of investments without the prior research and knowledge. Believe me you can earn lot of money by investing but at the same time you will be fall in debts if you do invest without any prior research and knowledge.

This we have to understand. You have to plan your savings, investments, insurance and all. You may not be able to do all of it once. But you can do at least one of them. And you can add other plans like investments or insurance or anything in the long run. It will take time and we must have that patience.

Another thing is don't waste your money on unnecessary things and for the luxury. Don't compare your present life with somebody else's life who is living their life luxuriously. We have to live our life based on our financial status. If you try to be the other personality or spend your hard-earned money on the luxurious things which cost more than your earnings, then you will be left in debt and your life will become hell.

In Relationship:

Coming to the relationships, be it any relation say mother, father, brother, sister, husband, wife, son, daughter, grandson and so on. The arguments, quarrels and misunderstandings come normally and frequently. The main reasons are we go for ego, not giving the time to our loved ones, being argumentative, being doubtful and many more.

Give time, help each other, accept the faults of others, give the importance to their decisions and opinion. If they did any mistake, try to convey it in a friendly manner.

If an argument took place, one must compromise to stop the argument. You must understand the other person form their perspective too. Learn to listen to what another person is telling. Rather than being argumentative try to convey what you want to say in a friendly manner. Learn to be patient. In a relationship we have to adjust, give time, being helpful, give emotional support and many more. It applies to every relation. If either of two persons are not adjusting in a relationship, then it won’t last long. Mutual understanding matters the most.

Conclusion:

Mistakes are inevitable in our life. If we try we can reduce them. Also, we have to learn from those mistakes and try not to repeat the same mistakes again.

HELP

HELP This topic is something special to me. To say honestly, I would love to help others. There are many ways we can help to others. The following are some of them, I know many of us know these ways which are mentioned below, but I felt to remind us once. Helping Through Words: Words can make a person feel sad and at the same time it can heal the pain of a person. Nowadays we are busy with our works and not even able to observe what other person is suffering in his/her life.  Let’s say you see a colleague who is crying/feeling sad in your office who you don’t know before. So, what we do basically? We ignore. But you can actually go to that person and ask why he/she is feeling bad. If the person liked to share it with you then help them with the positive words which can change their mood if the topic is not related to money/other materialistic thing and something that can be solved just by talking. There are many problems that can be solved just by talking positively. Try to ...

COMPARISON

Comparison Comparison can kill your confidence and goals. On the other side it can make you achieve your goals.  Yes, there is both positive and negative side for comparison. The positive side comes from gratitude and the negative side comes from comparison alone.  Let’s discuss on both positive side and negative side of comparison. Comparison (Negative Side): Most of us become depressed or lose hope mainly due to comparison. We compare ourselves with others who are successful. We compare our current financial status with someone else’s financial status. Not only us, even our parents compare us to our siblings, cousins and neighbor’s children and make us feel we are worth nothing. It makes us feel like we are useless thus lose hope towards our goals, dreams and even in life.  Gratitude (Positive Side): We make mistake by comparing our present status/situation which includes money, job, car/bike, home, and many more with someone else who is having all those things. ...
