COMPARISON

Comparison

Comparison can kill your confidence and goals. On the other side it can make you achieve your goals.

Yes, there is both positive and negative side for comparison.

The positive side comes from gratitude and the negative side comes from comparison alone.

Let’s discuss on both positive side and negative side of comparison.

Comparison (Negative Side):

Most of us become depressed or lose hope mainly due to comparison. We compare ourselves with others who are successful. We compare our current financial status with someone else’s financial status. Not only us, even our parents compare us to our siblings, cousins and neighbor’s children and make us feel we are worth nothing. It makes us feel like we are useless thus lose hope towards our goals, dreams and even in life.

Gratitude (Positive Side):

We make mistake by comparing our present status/situation which includes money, job, car/bike, home, and many more with someone else who is having all those things. You shouldn’t do it. Don’t compare your 1st chapter with somebody else’s 10th chapter. If someone having job, car/bike, home, or anything, they work hard for it to get all those. So, instead of comparing yourself with somebody else, do your best to become the better version of yourself.

Just image once that most of us are provided with good education, parents, home, food, clothes and many other things. But many people are living and suffering without the basic needs for their life. We see a lot of homeless people are begging on roads. Not even getting proper food, sometimes they don’t even get food for the entire day. We see people with disabilities. Now, compare our situation with their situation. Here the word “Gratitude” comes. Show gratitude towards yourself for being blessed with the things you have now in your life. Utilize the sources you have to achieve your dreams and lead your life.

Ignore people who compare you with the other people and show you are worthless. Focus on your life, do hard work, be grateful and thankful what you have in your life instead of being depressed or feel bad about what you don’t have. You can compare yourself who you are yesterday and do your best to become the best version of yourself every single day.

Remember that every human has their own talent and skill set in different levels. So, there is no point in comparing your talent/skill set with someone else’s talent/skill set. Every human being is unique in their own way.

Finally, it is up to you whether to compare your first chapter with somebody else’s tenth chapter or be grateful and thankful for the things you are blessed with in your life.

MISTAKES

According to my opinion, these are the three common categories and aspects in life where we make mistakes In Academics: Many of us did many mistakes in our academics and even failed in exams too. We see many students are committing suicides when they are failing in their exams, mainly in their 10th standard that too in our India. We, society has influenced the students or children that they should get pass in their 10th standard or else they will fail in life. Not only about the 10th standard there are many parents who inculcate in their children mind that they should get high score or top rank in academics that too in a frightened manner, telling their children that they will be given punishment from their parents. Both parents and teachers need to be awake from the misconceptions. Parents need to understand that Marks alone neither decide the success nor the future of the children. It’s fine if your children get less marks. It’s fine if your children are not able to perform well in a...
